1984 & 2020

I recently shared this on facebook & figured why not share here also... A photo of me in 1984, and a photo of me in May ‘20, in the same canoe, and in the same location (which I’d rather not be shared publicly, thanks).

That's pretty cool Justin. Hopefully more people will share their time traveling photos in your thread.

I think I know where that is. The backdrop looks awful familiar...

Thanks Pauly.
Yeah it was a little difficult to get the same angle being alone this time around & trying to balance my cellphone on a rock with only a 10 second timer. I didn’t really think it through all the way.

In 4 more years maybe I’ll try again for a 40 years later photo.

Thanks Mike.
Actually the fish from Ď84 I think is a Chubb or perhaps a White Sucker..?
This time around was a big olí fancy brook trout.

OK, I'll bite.

My first fish. A pumpkinseed sunfish, 1969

A few years later, same pond.

Excellent!

There are many comparisons between 1984 and 2020 these days. Nice to have one of em that makes me smile !
