Gothics, or something else?

Hi, we're planning to hike Gothics (or maybe just the Wolfjaws) on Tuesday, but we'll have a dog with us. Is it true we can't bring the dog if we plan on parking at Ausable Club? And, if we can't, anyone want to recommend an alternative hike for us? We're physically fit and have hiked the more obvious trailed peaks (Marcy, Algonquin, Wright, Colden, Giant, etc) and we're looking for a relatively straightforward high peak day hike. Suggestions are welcome!

True, dogs are prohibited on AMR property. You can access those peaks from The Garden, on the other side of the range.
