Galileo (aka EU GPS) down over weekend

The entire European Union's Galileo GNSS went down over the weekend. If this ever happened to GPS, all hell would break loose.

Yeah, much of industry and commercial transportation would be in a hurt. And the real horror of it is hikers might actually have to use a map and compass. I can almost hear my SAR incident callout phone ringing now.
