All three??
I had a lot of success with the Ruger 44 mag carbine and the old Remington pump chambered for the 300 Savage.
I've taken a few with the .243, but it's a little light for big Adk. bucks.
Thanks for the response.
Jim

Ruger #1 in 45-70 with a 2X scope or my Remington Model 700 in .270 with 6X scope. The .270 was my high school graduation present in 1968. It is the one rifle along with a 16 ga. Fox ind a Winchester Model 12 both made in 1926 and both family heirlooms that they will never take away, they are much more than guns in the cabinet (safe now a days). If my house were ever on fire it would be the Wife, the dog, the family photo albums and those firearms , more or less in that order.

Winchester Model 94, open sights, 30-30 for deer and the Marlin 444, adjustable semi–buckhorn folding rear, ramp front sight with brass bead and Wide-Scan™ hood, for bear. Both have had success. No scope needed.

Savage 99 in 308. Like seeing so many of the older style rifles referenced, but I can't be the only one using the 99 can I?

Any day above ground is a good one.
