Had a sight yesterday that made me quite happy. I had been on a bushwacking trip and popped out on the road a couple miles from my car, while sweltering on the black top I stopped above a culvert for a small stream (which of course is just a trickle now) and there below me in a pool at the base of the culvert were 6 wild brookies. One was actually pretty big for that little stream, maybe 9 inches.
