East River trail/ Siamese pond. Super Busy?

I'm looking for a close to home flatland hike for Saturday and Siamese Pond WA looks to fit the bill pretty perfectly. Memorial Day weekend is tough to catch some solitude and I'm wondering how busy this trail would be. Any thoughts? Recommendations for other hikes nearby if this one would be too crazy? Looking at the maps right now there's a ton of stuff.

I've been up this way dozens of times and all times of the year. Last year I took the Mrs up there for her first time and told her how secluded it was. Memorial day weekend was not the time for the seclusion. I wouldn't say it was crowded, but at no time were we alone.

That said, I was up there a couple weeks ago and I reached a point between the lean to and the lakes that was so blow down covered I turned around as I could not figure out where the trail continued. But, if you can navigate that, good chance it will deter others and you might have solitude past there. Otherwise, if you want to camp at large, this is the place to do it. Plenty of viable and legal spots to set up camp. I've only once done the bushwhack to the back side of the big pond. Its worth it.

Thanks for the scoop! We are actually not planning on going in all that far the blowdown will be avoided.
