Nice video Justin and congratulations on the moose! I saw some big tracks up in there last year but alas no moose. Not that I'd want to run into a big bull up close..

I've only seen moose in the wild up in Canada but it's nice to see one in your video. Can't wait until I get to do that myself.

PS - We pick up our new dog tomorrow and I can't wait to get out hiking again with a new companion. It's been almost 5 years without a hiking hound and I've really missed it. Your videos have been a good reminder of what I have to look forward to again.

I can't believe you got to see him on two different occasions. How would your dog react it she spotted the moose?

Good question, and it's hard to say. We had a horse pass by us once several years ago on the road into Newcomb Lake & she was pretty terrified not having seen such a large animal before, but if it was from a distance I'm pretty sure she'd just watch in interest. Then again, she doesn't really have the best eye sight either.
