I am happy to report that I and two other people: David and Peter, successfully hiked the NPT in 12 days from Sun. Aug. 9 - Thurs. Aug. 20. I hope to post pics and trail report soon. Thank you to my partners who hiked with me this year. Thank you to the partners who section hiked with me on the trail last year. Last year's section hike helped prepare me for this year's trip.

NPT August 2009

Gee I am coming to this thread kinda late. sorry only just looked into it.

yes it was a successful trip and actually for the most part not all that wet. We had sunshine most of the time (and this during the rainiest summer of memory).

For those looking to do just a piece of the trail, I'd have to say that the West Canada lakes portion (Between Piseco and Wakely Dam) is high and away the nicest.

i got my patch a few weeks after trip.
