3 day trip suggestions

Last year was my first time to the ADK and doing a multi day paddling trip. We paddled Bog River/Lows Lake for its remoteness, fishing, low # of portages and mix of river/lake paddling. I am planning to do another 3 day trip this year and while I would go back to Lows, I would also like to explore new areas. What are some suggestions you guys have for 3 day trips that are remote, decent fishing and few portages that you would recommend after doing Lows Lake?

Get the Paddlers Map available from Adirondack outfitters or Amazon..

You can figure out according to your style accordingly.

I have a paddlers map, I was thinking Lake Lila, or Little Tupper Lake but was wondering if seasoned paddlers have good suggestions.

The St. Regis Canoe Area has a lot of portages, but they tend to be short, flat, and easy. Even if it takes multiple trips back and forth to shuttle your canoe and gear they shouldn't be overly difficult.

And once you get more than 1 or 2 portages in, the level of use drops pretty significantly, so you wouldn't have to go far (generally) to find solitude.

Long Pond in St. Regis Canoe area has only one carry, great campsites and great bass fishing.

Little Tupper would be great, and you can go down to Rock Pond via its outlet stream, which adds a river component. There's one very short, flat carry before getting to Rock Pond. Or you could go down the outlet stream at the other end to Round Lake, no carry at all (but not as remote as Rock Pond). Like Lows it can get a bit rough on windy days. I don't know about fishing.

The upper Hudson offers challenging canoe trips from Newcomb to a take out near Indian Lake.
First night at Blackwell Stillwater, second night at the confluence of the Cedar River.
