Good winter mountain hike - non-peak and peak
I'm looking for a good beginner snowshoe hike in the High Peak region to do before attempting a High Peak, and then would like recommendations on a high peak that would be good for the first winter ascent.
We've done Marcy, Porter and Cascade in the summer, and would like a different one. Thanks! |

Hurricane, Wright or keep it flat and get use to the central High Peaks and snowshoe into Marcy Dam area so you can see what you will eventually be getting into.. and from there consider Phelps.
