Later boys
Well guys I'll be signing out this Monday for roughly six months. I will be leaving for basic/AIT training for the army national gaurd, but dont be worried I'll be back in full force for fall trout season with all the intentions of breaking the current state record. So while you're sitting around the camp fire this spring telling your friends and family of my adirondack accomplishments and historical feats crack a cold one for ADKpikebuster!!

Thank you for your service to your country. Stay safe, we'll leave a few fish for you.

Good luck with basic training Pikebuster. Are you headed to Ft. Jackson? I spent 4 years there while in the service. It will be a hot summer for you. Hang tough.

I fear that your service may cut into your drinking hobby.

Yeah my Senior is a sailor. He drinks like a fish... but he couldn't when he was in training or out on a ship.

I will be training at fort Leonard wood Missouri. My MOS is military police so my freedoms at basic at basic/AIT will be very limited. Lol as for the drinking don't get me wrong I enjoy a few cheap beers on a secluded pond, however I can live with out it for a few months. Once I return home and pay off some student loans, I plan on finally buying a new hornbeck and I have a whole list of ponds that I want to get into.
