Perkins Clearing Access

Planning on doing a weekend trip in a couple days, and was curious if access to Sled Harbor via Jessup River Road is possible yet. I was guessing not, but figured I would ask anyway just in case. Thanks!

I spoke to the forest ranger dispatch today and she said it will likely be closed still due to all the rain. Does anyone have any suggestions for a different 2 day hike for this Saturday and Sunday that might be doable without wading through a lot of mud? Preferably Lake George / southern ADK area?
