Wanna Play with Sandy?

She might be looking for someone to play with in the Adirondacks late this weekend or early next

Been watching this for a couple days. Looking like more of a threat every day this week so far.

Well I might be paddling or running some rivers that are normally rockpiles in October and November.

You might be skiing. I suspect that even in the Whites its going to be hard to get snow out of this.

So I am jealous.

But..the betting has started

Looks like I will be on the water too. I still have a 32 footer in the lake. Probably have to take it up behind some islands or into some protected bay for a couple days.

Following the NHC forecast. Of course there is still a lot of uncertainty. To my untrained eye, looks like potential for a big rain day on Wednesday.

If we get a big chunk of rain (maybe bigger than last Friday) it will be interesting to see how the drainages "perform." This will be the first big test since Irene. Keep your fingers crossed for no damage!
