Fay, Blueberry, Carson (Jay mtn) 9/4/2015

Easy bushwhack to these small peaks with big views (for two of the three)

Odd coincidence ... got to the end of Seventy road, and there was another car in the parking area. The two gentlemen there were doing a similar hike to me (plus some other mountains). I followed a woods road for 1/4 mile or so, and then headed up Fay mountain. Great views to the west and south. Continued along the ridge over Blueberry (no real views) and then on up to Carson mountain. More great views to the E, S and W. I met the two guys again and then headed back down to the north and west. I hooked back up with the woods road again - further north from where I had left it. Then it was an easy walk back to the car.

Your route up Mt. Fay looks pretty steep. Any issues?

Fay was steep near the top, but you can find herd paths through the ledges. Or head more to the north side.
