St Regis canoe area

Looking to head up in the spring for the first time.does turtle and slang pond hold brook trout

Outdated (1984/1985) ALS (Adirondack Lakes Survey) data showed a few Lake Trout (4) were netted in Turtle and a few brook trout (2) netted in Slang. Slang also had many perch and a large mouth bass. Not good indicators for brook trout. That is a long time ago so maybe things are much different now.

That’s the info I’m finding. Pan fish and bass. I think I might make base camp at st Regis pond and pond hop from there. Thanks for the response

Oh, there are no trout left in the SRCA, all fished out, acid rain, base groundwater, drought, global warming, cant get there from here, etc. etc.
Because It's There, and it may not be tomorrow
