Given that trout eggs are generally buried in gravel, it's unlikely any transport happens via waterfowl. That argument has been made with invasive fish like perch and shiners but it doesn't hold up....

Classic pattern

This is a Lew Oatman pattern, the Cutlips Minnow. I always liked the look of the dun hackles flanking the olive. The lavender body really sets the wing off. I'll try it this spring.

They're animals, therefore unpredictable. Bring bear spray, stop analyzing and have a good time. You have a good shot as spotting wolves in Lamar Valley as well.
