Woods Inn in Inlet has a nice venue for weddings. Lots of photo apps looking out on 4th Lake. Large under cover area with open sides looking out over the lake. Frequent weddings there.

Illegal ATV's

I got an illegal ATV on my trail cam set up in that area, complete with license plate number. I took it to the local ranger and only got an Oh Hum response. So much for pursuing illegal ATV use.

This Dobson Fly (the offspring of a hellgrammite) is about 3.5 inches long. Might catch a fish, but it would have to be a big one, or the Dobson Fly would win.:rolling:

Fulton Chain Ice Out

The webb cam up on McCauley Mtn shows some large bays on 2nd and 3rd lakes ice free. A little wind and it won't be long.

I found some excellent boot laces in Walmart referred to as Kiwi "Outdoor Laces". They are a good round nylon lace, not that fabric covered junk. They pull tight and never need double tying. Price...

Old Forge Pond is clear. Fulton Chain is breaking up with some open water, Stillwater Reservoir open. See it on Old Forge webb cam.

Moose Seen Recently

In this weeks Adirondack Express, there is a picture of the moose taken by Gary Lee a couple of weeks ago, but he acknowledges that he hasn't seen him much this year.

I have the Garmin Topo US 24K Northeast memory...

I have the Garmin Topo US 24K Northeast memory card in my Etrex 20 and love it. It contains a lot of the old trails that existed on the 1954 USGS map, some of which are still visible as game trails....
