No beech mast last fall 2020, but fall of 2019 was a bumper crop, most I’ve seen in decades.

All the Marten my hunting partners and myself...

All the Marten my hunting partners and myself have seen there, have been on the ground.
We saw them last fall while deer hunting there on a daily basis.

Very interesting article. I’ve seen it first hand, the 2018 Marten harvest was around 200, then 2019 had a heavy beechnut crop and the season harvest was 20. This past season hunting the Black River...
