Thank you Festus. Yes, I have an F150 no problem fording the stream and the ruts after the Northway. I didn't want to face turning around or backing up in that section if there were any issues.

I came across a pair of sunglasses on the Branch Rd (about 1 1/2 miles in) off of Blue Ridge Rd. They don't seem to be of Costa or Maui Jim caliber but someone may want them back.
