I agree. For 5000 visitors a year, $5 million for roads, comfort stations, a new supervisor cabin and staff housing. Not to mention the legacy costs associated with that type of infrastructure.

From the TH to almost Cage is a rutted atv mud hole filled trail. Not recommended as it just sucks. Between Cage and Wolf is a beaver swamp. It was messy last august 2019.

Like Wldrns, I have not had issues with dehydrated meals which contain fats. I regularly use cheese, milk and eggs even adding olive oil in recipes which get dehydrated with no issues. YMMV.
