I've often used the shelves, but I always practice LNT and NEVER leave anything behind. Some of the LTs I stay in have have the shelves removed; adopter or DEC?

After consulting a Nat Geo map, only the TH at KF is private. The map does not show any designated sites along the shores, so you'd have to do the 150' rule.

Just in case Tony doesn't see this right away... I think the brake was put in in the early 1900's. Noah John moved in in 1912 after the Santa Clara Lumber Co. moved out.

In general, no lean-tos are reservable, they are first come, first serve. However, DEC campgrounds may have lean-tos that are reservable.
