    Cliff 9/16

Well #45 is in the books. What a glorious day--bluebird skies and cool temps. It doesn't get much better than this--except maybe a little less MUD-- I decided to go in from the Loj to Avalanche Lake and Lake Colden and then up Uphill. I finished by looping through to Lake Arnold and out.
    Uphill Trail--Mud pits
HP up Cliff--Mud pits early-improved as I climbed
Beaver Activity--Not too bad--You can pick a way through, just watch out for the floating logs --New dance step
Started at 7, hit the summit at Noon back at the PA at 5--Feet and knees took a beating w/ all the log tightrope walking, rock hopping and tree root avoiding.
What a great day to be out
