picture perfect day but I forgot my camera. Got some good foliage shots at heart lake with my cell phone. 12 others signed in for S&N I saw them all. Saw one small bear and a 11 or 12 point buck. I gave the buck my name and address of my hunting club and invited him and any of his friends for morning coffee the first day of muzzle loader season. Indian pass brook is the lowest I have ever seen it. Over all the trail to S&N is the best shape it has e been in recent years. A couple of wet spots and that was about it. Color should be at peak next weekend so it would be a good time to get out.
