    Climbing for Grace

There are many trip reports from the very successful Climb For Grace Day at ADKHighpeaks.

Prolly cuz many of the climbers cross post there and whoever started the TR ball rolling there (not ever sure who is was actually), just started the trend and everyone just added their reports there.

Have no fear though Kevin, I got you covered . I complied all the Trip Reports -HERE-

I encourage ALL of you to browse through and check some/all of them out. The background on the GRACE DAY climb cane be found HERE as well.

In short we were honoring Grace L. Hudowalski (Matriarch of the 46ers) 70th Anniversary of her completion in 1937. We were attempting to place a different climber on all 46 high peaks plus McNaughton on the same day/time. So far we've confirmed 42/47

The Climb for Grace day was initially posted on ADKF, ADKHP an VFTT but the ball got rolling on ADHHP and people used it for planning. Then everone spontaneously posted their TR's there.

I had a fun hike with Rik,Val,and Peakbagger, and the 2 dogs. It was nice to meet you Neil, and everyone else at the Pub afterwards. It was a great way to honor a great lady who I had only met once.

Don't know if it counts. But on Sunday I was at 6800 feet on Mount Rainier and I took a moment to honor Grace, as well as my friend Kim.....
