    Back from the Rockies

Two weeks of tent living and scrambling in rain and snow are over, snif. We had the worst weather imaginable but went out every single day, 14 days in a row and had plenty of fun. We had one sunny day and climbed Mt. Temple via the so-called tourist route, 5500 feet of vertical. We had to turn around on a couple of summits less than 15 mins. from the top due to deep, steep snow and icy covered rock bands but back at camp the beer still tasted great. I hardly took any pics either because there were no views or the camera was under the pack cover and too much work to get. Nevertheless here's a beauty of Dominic on Temple's summit.

Here are some of the shots a did take:

The best, the most successful adventurer, is the one having the most fun.

I look forward to getting out there someday myself. It's certainly "different" terrain from the Adirondacks, but for a views from the top kinda guy like me it's perfect!!

Glad you still managed to have fun despite the weather. Surprised it was that cold/snowy already.
