The trail is in great shape. Very little mud. Lots of blueberries. I spooked a bear that was feasting on berries! As I came over a rise on one of the ledges, I heard loud heavy breathing to my right. When I turned to look there was an adult bear about 30 feet away. He was already running and he was out of sight in 5 seconds. Gave me a pretty good rush! This is the first time I've seen a bear in the woods, hope it's not the last.
