2006-04-29 Dial+Nippletop
The trail around Dial is quite difficult. There had been some ice storms in the Winter that caused a lot of damage to the trees. We had to walk around them, do the "limbo" or jump over several trees. There are also many trees in the trail around Elk pass. There was no need for crampons even though there were some icy spots. Very long and tough day!!! Probably our most exhausting day in the Daks!

Trail is in good condition. I used crampons for fun avoiding doing some tricky pass! Going down was such a fun! Skiing with my boots was cool!!!
