I've been meaning to get back to this little gem and finally did. There really is not enough snow for snowshoes, and certainly not for xcountry skis, but the trail was quite icy in some sections, so something like Yak Traks would be ideal. Berrymill Flow was beautiful with a vibrant blue sky in the background. Only one other hiker on the trail all day. The MMP Lean-To was very clean and orderly. The views of Owl Pate and Bald Pate, and of course Moose Mountain, were gorgeous on the far side of the pond. All in all, it was a great seven mile trip, and a solid workout. -GG
