After our long day on Giant on Sunday we opted for a little easier walk on Monday so we headed over to Hurricane--we started off from Rt 9 in Keene--the trail was well broken--a nice firm base w/ coating of fresh snow--looked like 8-10 hikers on Friday and Saturday from the trail register--a nice easy hike up--summit was very windy--it had been picking up all day--we could hear it up above--quite cold too probably in the low teens up top--just a beautiful day to be out--again no real killer views but enough to be more than satisfied
