    Street&Nye - beware Indian Brook

Recently moved back to the area and am ready to continue towards my 46.

We (1 friend and I) went after Street and Nye yesterday (Sunday, 10/16)

Up to Indian Brook, a lot of the trail was under water.

After crossing Indian Brook we were too wet to continue in the cold wind... see attached picture for current crossing conditions.

Recommend holding off on these two peaks til the water level is down.

Looks like you should be carrying your fly rod !

I wonder how much water is there normally ?
What it is is in your head !

Usually you can keep your feet dry when you cross it.

It's hard to say when it is high or low, either. There have been times I've been there when it dropped significantly between the time I crossed it for going up, and returning. Other times, it seems like it stays high for weeks.

Wait in winter, it is nice and easy to cross, and your feet stay dry.

If the water was that high, I would of turned back, if I couldn't rock hop across.

Last year in October it was down to a trickle.

We crossed in June and it was an easy Rock Hop.
