      Pretty easy stuff

I am not very technical at all. The pictures were taken with a Kodak disposable. Not nearly as sharp or prolific as those taken by Chili Willie with his digital camera, but it's about as technical as I get. I got the pictures developed at Wal Mart and burned onto a CD. I also got a set of prints for my album, which I am religious about labeling and keeping up to date.

I signed up for Web Shots, and paid the $40 for a year - you get software that lets you upload pictures from the CD onto your desktop, edit them and then upload them to the internet. You get 100 pictures per album and about 200 or so albums a year. You can make them public or private, and you can invite your friends to view them.

To put them here, I went to the Web Shots site with this album, copied the address and then pasted it here.

It's about all I can muster, but I am glad I can share the pictures with my son in Scranton and my mom and dad in Florida. My son could see them when he was in Hong Kong for the year, too.

Not as sophisticated as Wilderness Photo or Kevin or the other really good photographers on this site, but I like it a lot. Thanks Ron

            Hill Street Pub

Chrix - (IceClimber?) Yes we did, and an excellent beer it was. Glad to know that this is you!

Rivet - I am planning to do Allen in mid to late September, when my son can find a weekend to get away from school and join me. Weekend because I am so slow I plan to do it as a three day. I also would like to share the moment with some friends and hiking companions that I have hiked and summited with over the years. And then, the steepest thing I plan to climb for a while will be a speed bump! Ron

                Get Together Again Sounds Good

                Chrix

I would love to get together again in the Fall. I think the folks here tried to arrange something a few months ago, but it did not come to pass. Maybe in October -

Did you fall on the Allen slide? Everyone talks about how slick it is, and that you always hope to climb it after a spell of dry weather. Of course, I still trip over my own shoelaces, so maybe I should take some body armor and a helmet with me

                  Hey Ron,

Nope, we did not fall on it, but came VERY close many a times. If you go slow and watch each step it's ok i think. poles are a must for extra balance IMO.

                  October will work for me.
