    This was taken on Marcy in Mid-October last year. Mid-October is only 3 1/2 months from now.

            That fire made me warm on more than one occasion. Ie. Cut and carry, then burn.

              I wasn't able to make it to the skating party, but here's a picture I took of Santanoni Peak this past Feb. The temperature was about -10F that morning.

                Thanks, for the "cool" photos, guys. Having backpacked in all four seasons for the first time this past year, I'm sort of feeling like summer's the least pleasant and the winter the most beautiful. Maybe it's a Swedish thing.
