    Cascade lake trail

Does anyone know if it is possible to use a wheeled canoe carrier up the trail to Cascade lake which is off of big Moose road above Inlet.

I am 72 and a carry looks out of the question. Also what about the .3 mile carry to Lake Lila?

    Thanks!

It should be quite easy to navigate a canoe cart along the trail to Cascade. I was there just a few weeks ago.

      Lake Lila portage trail

Unfortunately with all the rocks, roots, bridges and elevation differences the .3 miles to Lila from the parking lot is not wheel friendly. I tried it years ago solo and ended up carrying everything (2 trips at least). Back twice since then and didn't take the wheels.

There is a road (after the locked gate) that does get you to the shore in perhaps 1.5 miles. Not sure about launching there but assume you could find a spot. No portage required to get into nearby Little Tupper Lake.
