    Upper St. Regis Lake

Can anyone tell me if there's a public canoe launch on Upper St. Regis Lake? If so, how do I find it? I have the Adirondack Paddler's Map which shows a canoe access at the south end of the lake. Is there a place to park there? Thanks for your help.

    Upper St Regis Launch

The launch shown on the map is indeed there. It's a public boat launch and there is limited parking. It may be difficult to find a parking space because there are lots of construction workers and fishermans vehicles. It's not a long paddle from the launch to the carry to Bog Pond.

Thanks cgill, appreciate the response. Is there a name on the road off Rt 30, or any sign?

        launch

There's a sign but it's small and on the opposite side of the road. Coming from the south the road is dirt and on the outside of a bend going down hill. I think I drove by it the first time. I'm sure you'll find it.

There are two roads off of Rt. 30 that form a loop. If you miss the first one,
          take the second one.

I believe the road is called St. Regis Carry, and as adkh20 said, it's a loop.
