hiked to Trout Lake on the trail to Debraine Lake in the Ferris Lake Wild Forest. sign says 2 miles, but gps says 3. used a stashed boat for the paddle. fished, but no bites. didn't find any campsites, or even a fire ring. very nice paddle, tho, lots of nooks and crannies to explore.

In warmer weather (soon to be here) I often select hikes where there is a nice place to swim at the end. Do you remember if the water off the rock ledge in your third photo looked deep enough for a nice dip?Comment

looked to be only couple feet deep there. there was a couple nice spots on the eastern end, but you would need a boat, or a very long bushwhack.Comment
