How are the black flies and general insect pressure on the river?

Thank you aroo, just what I needed.

I have been up there once before but wanted to take an extended trip above the falls. Figured it had to be typical flows by now but you never know.

Vermont, I was on Little Tupper last week and the black flies were not biting yet, but I'm sure they will be by now.
