seeking Canoe ideas and fellow explorers

Anyone have any good suggestions on wilderness trips by canoe? Looking to do a few trips this summer as i recently acquired a canoe. any suggestions greatly appreciated as i'm unfamiliar with the adk waterways.

St. Regis CAnoe area... hoel-turtle-slang-long...polliwog loop from follensby... these are a couple of easy half day- to full day that can be expanded into overnights. then there are the classic 7 carries.. 9 carries..

If you have any specific questions I'm sure folks here will try to provide answers but I think you'll receive better replies if you provide some parameters - Are you looking for day trips or overnights ? Prefer large lakes, ponds, rivers or combination ? All flatwater or you willing to run or carry some rapids ? Are you interested in covering some territory or would you rather stop to smell every rose enroute ? How do you envision spending a day in your canoe ? Rather than miles, how many hrs do you wanna paddle in a day ? What constitutes a "Wilderness trip " to you ? - lack of motors, other paddlers, development ?
There are many, many great Adk paddling destinations but to suggest a few would be easier if you stated what type experience you're looking for
Rio's suggestion a great one but you might not agree if your canoe weighs 90 lbs & you've never lifted it over your head.
