Anyone have a Hurricane "aquasports" kayak?

Just stopped at the Kayak shop and saw a nice kayak. It was a Hurricane "palmetto 129" The whole package...boat,pfd,paddle (carbon) and pump for $999.99 I was just wondering if anyone has heard about them or has them. I'm thinking about picking one up.

My wife has the Hurricane Tampico XL. She absolutely loves it. She tried out many kayaks before getting this one. It is light, tracks well, and is very stable. She tried the palmetto but didn';t care for it as much. She said the cockpit was smaller, didn't track as well, felt bulky, not as fast. This of course is compared to a boat she loves. Of course the feel of the boat will change from person to person. Try it out, Hurricane Aquasports makes a good boat, especially for the price.
