Anyone out there that would like to get to get together for some lessons on Lake Algonquin?
First thing I need is someeone with some good experience in recovery, paddle strokes and technique. If anyone has that experience and ir willing to share it with us, please PM me with the details, especially availability.
As for the rest of us........ Who would be interested if we can put this together? I am also going to ask our local kayak dealer/guide how much he would charge for half a days instruction. Thhat might be a way to go also.
My experience last week convinced me that there are a few things I wouold really like to know. It's Ironic. I've been trained in water but never with a kayak or a canoe.
Anyway, chime in if interested. If we have to hire someone, I ned to know there are enough people that it would only be about $10.00 a head. We could grill food in my yard for eats and then play on the lake or the river with out new found skills.
