OK... I'm tired of looking at all those photo's of brookies the size of your palm.
I got stripers, blues, bass, and backcountry brookies bigger than your frying pan....

Where's all the real fisherman out there...
Where's all the real woodsman out there...

    Enjoy...

Okay, your backcountry camp looks great, and you can catch fish with ease, so now what about a string of deer and grouse photos?

I`m really sorry, but, alot of the times its not the boring size of our fish we catch that makes us want to show the board , but the total experience,is what its all about,we are `nt braggers ....glad your are in to the big trophy size fish ...I guess it comes down to each his own...

"Get your mind off trout,if you can.I know they`ve got you.I can see it. Every fraternity of sufferers knows its brothers.Trout hook men;men don`t hook trout.Better try and throw the hook while you can.By the time you`re a grown man there probably won`t be a pure trout healthy enough to fiddle with"... Excuse me, but to quote you, it was (without a doubt) the total experience that prompted me to post those pictures, not bragging rights... as you say.

It's not the boring size of our fish we catch...(as you say above) but rather the total experience. Perhaps those photo's had you somewhat mesmerized, and you missed that stringer of wild brookies on a stick, or all those fillets by the campfire. That's as backcountry as it gets fella........

What kind of a fisherman are you......????????

Ripple, that's one beautiful "hand full" of brookie. That's really a beautiful fish, and it looks fat as well. Looks like the weapon of choice was an xmas tree (lake clear wobbler with a worm) Congrat's... really nice fish. And I concur, you never really get tired of catching palm sized brookies. Let's have some fun here shall we.......

                Tight lines to all... Thebluesman

Doesn't that Sportsman's Club of yours come with their own photographer...?

                  Hmmmmm

                  I'm still contemplating the hunt......

This post sure got everyone going. Anyway, I'm really enjoying Bluesman's photos and jokes. Keep them coming.

No longer a member of the club and, when I was, wouldn't have mind having a photographer sitting next to me photographing the one that got away (and I don't mean a fish). He was a beauty!

To Chaser..... That brookie almost look like some type of hybrid.

                            Wow... no kidding, beautiful fish.

Now... you didn't take that photo with a wide angle lens, or a fish eye lens.... to make it look bigger...did ya....???????

That's a beauty... Care to share as to where you were, and what was the weapon of choice to land it..?

Two different trout one in the am(18") and the other in the pm(17").

No funky lens....maybe held it out in front of me a little.

Last spring ice out, lake clear & worm banging the sunken timber. Where? Hahahhahahaha!!!!!!!!!!
