    Brothers Day out...

We finally got together on a trout stream...but, we were faced with very low water conditions...we helplessly watched the flows subside from the nice rains on monday and tuesday..very frustrating having to have to wait til friday before we could get out ...the water went lower and lower each day ...wednesday the levels were near perfect...but,we made the best of it and talked alot while we casted our flies ...then ,in the very last and best looking run of all we had fished we both hooked browns and had a double going on ...can`t remember having that happen before ever...that made the whole day ...water is starting to cool off nicely and with more rain..it willl be a great fall for fishing... hopefully more rains will come before the end of the trout season on most waters on Oct.15th..heres one of the two browns I was fortunate enough to have come to the fly...

Every fraternity of sufferers knows its brothers.Trout hook men;men don`t hook trout.Better try and throw the hook while you can.By the time you`re a grown man there probably won`t be a pure trout healthy enough to fiddle with"... Nice looking fish WB. Getting out is the most important thing. And you are right, it should only get better if we get some rain...

        I disagree.
        Vehemently.

Getting Out is just delaying the Inevitable.
It assumes a Problem from the get-go.

Staying In, is the most important thing.

I'm so sick and tired of hearing cliches from fishermen who hardly ever fish.

          Here's a good one that I hate:
"A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work".

          Pffffffffffffff!

Those are the words of a person in a cubicle.

The bald truth is this: A bad day fishing is a bad day fishing.

          Let's Get a Grip.

(St Regis, I wasn't aiming this one at you).
          Yes, the rain is helping.

          Nice Fish, Wb.

            Nice Fish.
Serotonin, I've been trying to put that same emotion/reaction in words for years.

Thanks Sero, for always putting things in the right perspective ..gotta love your wit and wisdom, did I mention humor also...

Thanks Adkh and St.Regis...from now on,the trout will be more active and the ones that are, will really slam your offering..the days are getting shorter and the night temps. are dropping along with the water temps...just get out and the rest is gravy!!! Now, for more water....would be nice..

...So, Wb says the pictures of my fish came out "blurry"...Something about water droplets on the lens?????

How about, "A good day fishing is better than a bad day at work" ?
