My wife and I will be spending a few days at Elk Lake Lodge in the spring. That means I can fish in Elk Lake, Clear Pond and the outlet of Elk Lake (The Branch). I hear that's the time for the landlocked salmon in Clear Pond. Does anyone have any recommendations regarding tacle and fly patterns for the salmon? I've only got a 5-weight that's probably too light. I need to start putting out hints prior to Christmas and my birthday.
