    W. Canada

Was wondering if anyone has been fishing the WC, if so how are the water temps and hatches doing? was thinking about floating it this weekend but would like to know if there have been any working fish.

    Thanks in advance

I realize, you're probably, just trying to make a hint, regarding this specific locale.

But, in general, I disagree with it in the broad sense. I blame it more on the increasing population. For example: In the past, I was very concerned with a few articles, which Brown & Ingersol wrote for specific areas, but for whatever reason(s)..... traffic actually, decreased to those places.

However, I'm sure it does add SOME traffic.

That's just my personal opinion (!)

      * & to clarify: WC Creek is easier to access, then the "farther back in" places, I was concerned about.

I think we are both right. There are more people, and they are connected with the click of a mouse. I was talking with a guy who used to fish the WCC and it was his opinion that the internet ruined this specific location. He grew up on this once beautiful stream, and he no longer fishes it. Just Google West Canada Creek and you'll find anything you ever needed to know about it and where to acess it.

          I'll go with that.

I just felt like stating an opinion, for a change.

You know how the net works, why would you say so much? I pasted part of your post into an engine and found exactly what you were talking about. And I had never heard of it before. Now I've book marked it. Shhh.

              Thanks

I wasn't looking for your honey hole, just some general info. If you think the river in question is some sort of secret among fly fisherman, that is hysterical. I guess I'll see you on the river. By the way beaver pond, you sound like your a member of the 90% club. When Was the last time you saw your backing?

I don't think, BP meant anything too pointed. We were just talking in general terms.

                  doublespey,

It looks like some of the thread has been edited so my reply now looks out of context..

Why the insult? I didn't point anything negative towards you.

This whole mess of a thread is my fault. I typed a hot-blooded response regarding posting fishing reports on the net, and I got called on it. (NOT in regards to doublespeys post - he was asking about a well-known and publicized river, and I was ranting about guys posting directions to little brook trout streams) It's deleted now, and the thread doesn't really makes sense now. I apologize to everyone involved, and especially to the original poster.

doublespey, please feel free to pm me and I'd be happy to share my any info you may be interested in on the WCC. To beaverpond, pondhopper, and anyone else reading this thread and shaking their heads, I really am sorry. Won't happen again.

It's not your fault this guy made an uncalled for personal attack...

"By the way beaver pond, you sound like your a member of the 90% club. When Was the last time you saw your backing?"

I still havent' figured out what set this guy off.

I'm confused. How many times can you see backing in a beaver pond?
I'll find 'im for 3...but I'll catch 'im, and kill 'im for 10

I can see my backing through the side of my reel.
