I'm looking for any recent fishing adventures and sucessful fishing reports from anyone who has fished eighth lake or surrounding area recently. never fished this lake, love to hear the story's to get my blood boiling. looking foward to heading that way this weekend. I haven't fished 8th lake for years so I can't vouch for the recent quality of fishing.
You asked about other spots in the area.
Take the trail that runs west between 7th and 8th lake over the hill to Bug Lake. you'll need a boat or float tube to fish the lake with any success. The lake is artificials only. All I can say is monster brookies. -
I've fished bug lake before but it's probably been over 20yrs. since I've been in there. there was also a little pond on the way in on the right called eagles nest we caught brookies out of that pond but no size to them. I plan on bringing a small trailored boat with a small kicker on it. that's why I was inquiring about eighth lake need a place with a boat launch. I would have to bring the canoe for bug lake. But that might be an option. I'll have to do some thinking and decide what to do by the weekend. thanks for the infoComment
