    Fishing with a kayack?

    Hello gents, I am new to this site, I am not new to fishing though.. since I do not own a canoe at this time, I wonder what the general consensus is on dragging a kayack to some of the carry in places, I got one with a wide opening, of course I like to get one of the very light canoes but right now I want to fish!!

      Welcome to the Forum!
      You might want to read over this thread, among others discussing the merits of canoes/kayaks for fishing. The general concensus is, I believe, a canoe is much better suited to both fishing and to portaging any distance at all.
