    Ice Out Fishing

    Seeing a lot of open water on some web cams. Planning a week long trip next weekend at various locations. Has anyone been out? What conditions are you seeing? Thanks.

      Ice out was two weeks ago at our cabin in the Wilcox Lake Wild Forest (1300'). I've been to a couple ponds in the area over the last two weeks and all are open. I haven't been too far north, but it's been unseasonably warm with wind, so I suspect they're open now or ready to let go soon.

          Wow that’s an early ice out. I’m sure due to this warm weather that pushed in so early. I did not except such a warm up after such a cold winter. Thanks.
