I understand that folks don't share their fishing hot spots but since this is a Private lake ...... Has anyone fished at Elk Lake Lodge on Elk Lake or Clear Pond at elk Lake Lodge that would share their experience?

Wish I could help but I've never fished there. A quick check on YouTube shows several videos on it though. They may be helpful.

Have not fished there, but it is quite nice to paddle.
Note: personal watercraft are not allowed, one must use the canoes/kayaks they provide.

I fished there once probably 15 years ago. I did catch a Laker in clear pond, but didn’t hook up with anything on elk Lake. This was in late September. It was hard to come by any information on the fishing from the staff there.“Once there were brook trout in the streams in the mountains. They smelled of moss in your hand.
