  • 5 Days Of Rainbow Trout

    A few pictures here from 5 VERY nice days of camping, canoeing and fishing in the Adirondacks. My girlfriend Stephanie joined me for the first night, I spent a couple nights solo, and then was joined by my buddy and his son for the last few nights. Just like always, we had some great food with us, but still ended up doing a few Trout over the fire. I still cannot get over how active these fish were, the action was almost nonstop the entire time.

    Many more fish than you see pictured here were caught, but these were the nicer ones. I don't want to say exactly where we were, but I am sure many of you can figure it out. I was surprised at not just the quantity, but the size of the fish we were catching for such an easily accessible spot. Definitely not a bad way to spend 5 days in the woods.

    And lungs are poisoned and shoulders bowed,
    In the smothering reek of mill and mine;
    And death stalks in on the struggling crowd?

      Sounds like you had a dream trip. Not many trips go exactly as you always hoped. And this one was full of crazy hungry trout! Nice ones too! Action had to be non-stop. Tightlines! WB

Every fraternity of sufferers knows its brothers.Trout hook men;men don`t hook trout.Better try and throw the hook while you can.By the time you`re a grown man there probably won`t be a pure trout healthy enough to fiddle with"... Awesome trip! What there a particular color wabbler they were keying on? I just got back from fishing a pair of ponds in this weeks sunny warm weather and the brookies weren't cooperating. Still, beautiful scenery with the color changes.
