    black lake - the big one.

    ya, i know it's outside the blue line but i figure it's close enough.



    anybody fish it much? got any suggestions?

    i'm taking my dad up there sunday for a late fathers day. he loves walleyes.

    So...how'd ya do???
    I've been wanting to go to Black Lake for a while now. I plan on going January 23rd.(I'll be in the area)

      we did ok. a few nice largemouths. it was VERY windy, which as i understand is the rule there.

      we got tired of of the wind after a couple hours and went down to the indian river (feeds into black lake from the south)

      enjoyed the indian river much more (less wind and other boats).
      we got a real nice mix, large mouths, small mouths, pickerals, northern pike.

      unless you've got a decent sized boat i'd suggest staying near the north or south at ends at the rivers.
