    Warren Co.-Any stocking done yet?

Given the lower water-level- than- usual stream conditions for this early in May, does anyone know if anything has been stocked yet? (In the past, it seems they usually start stocking mid-May; but, there have been warm years when it was done the 1st week of May.)

I’m not sure how accurate this is, but this might be useful to you.

I can only speak for Essex county. Some of the streams here were stocked at least three weeks ago. I would think Warren would be on a similar time table. From what I understand, air stocking is done in the fall.

All of Warren County's streams have been stocked, some multiple times. Fishing's been good on the Schroon River, Trout Brook, Mill Creek.

Thanks for the info on stocking; I went to the Schroon yesterday. They're definitely in there..landed 6 rainbows and one brookie in 90 minute session, starting @2pm, between exit 24-25, using small rapalas. Water cold, level near excellent; black flies-bad. Hope conditions stay this good thru June..

Nice. I need to get up to Schroon more often. I’ve been fishing the Sacandaga “Dead Sea” too much lately. I’m beginning to forget what lake fish look like.

FYI Here's the Warren County DPW site which includes the hatchery.
